Mercury 40 ELPT Specifications:
The Mercury 40 ELPT is a four-stroke three-cylinder overhead camshaft gasoline outboard engine. This engine has a batch fuel injection system, mechanical fuel pump of diaphragm or plunger type, electric start with bendix starter, and capacitor discharge ignition system. A 45.6 cubic inches (747 cc) outboard motor has a cylinder bore of 2.56″ (65 mm), piston stroke of 2.95″ (75 mm), and maximum power of 40 hp (29.8 kW) at 5750 rpm. The boat motor is equipped with a trochoid pump lubticating system, 3-blades aluminum standard propeller, and tiller steering system. The fuel tank has a capacity of 6.6 gal (25 liters).
